LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – The body of a 46-year-old Carnelian Bay woman was found Thursday morning after Placer County Search & Rescue teams had been looking for her since a Monday afternoon car accident.
Kathryn “Lani” Jones was found on a popular hiking and snowshoe trail about one-half mile from her home.
