SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – Reopening a nonprofit health care system’s thrift store during a pandemic takes careful consideration and planning, just like many of the challenges faced in the region. As Barton Health’s Attic thrift store prepares to open after a six-month hiatus, a week-long donation event is planned for the week of September 14, to accept household items from the community and restock shelves.
