Forty 7th grade students just finished the two week long 2015 Summer G.R.E.A.T. Program sponsored by the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office (DCSO).
Twenty students from Pau-Wa-Lu Middle School and 20 from Carson Valley Middle School learned leadership, goal setting, and decision making skills in the program. They had the opportunity to participate in the Heavenly Resort Epic mountain ropes course, kayaked Lake Tahoe and completed community service by cleaning up Zephyr Cove Beach.
