DOUGLAS COUNTY, Nev. – Just one week ago the Douglas County Board of County Commissioners made the announcement that Tom Stone accepted their offer of employment, making him the new county manager.
On January 16, 2019, Stone submitted his resignation.
“Effective immediately I am resigning from my position as Douglas County Manager. I want to thank the Board for giving me this opportunity to serve,” stated Stone.
Having to search for a new county manager isn’t something new for Douglas County.
