SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – The first week of September will be a warm one at Lake Tahoe. August wraps up with widespread haze from the fires north of the lake and a slightly “cooler” day. Things will be clearing out Tuesday and an unusually warm air mass takes hold the end of the week and through the weekend with temperatures likely to near record highs.
