The Tahoe Douglas Rotary Club hosted the Rotary District 5190 Area 9 speech contest finals on Friday, April 15 at MontBleu Resort. Each Rotary club in the area had individual contests, then the winners went onto Friday’s Area final.
The topic for the speeches was “Be a Gift to the World.”

2nd Place: Dusty Winter Whittell High School
3rd Place: Scarlett Baeza Carson High
4th Place: Siobhanie Cook South Tahoe High School
