SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – The Tahoe Madrid girls soccer team took their talents to the international stage as they hosted a team who traveled to the South Shore from Germany.
“What an amazing game,” said Tahoe parent Jeanna Rangel. “Great sportsmanship. No shoving or pushing. Just straight fun. This was a once in a lifetime opportunity for both teams!”
The match ended in a 1-1 tie.
Rangel said Tahoe player Ava Campbell had a few opportunities to score, but the ball just didn’t make it into the goal.
