Tower of Power heads to South Shore after two band members hit by train

Two musicians with the legendary Bay Area R&B band Tower of Power remain hospitalized after being hit by an Amtrak train in Oakland on January 12. The other band members will still be performing on the South Shore at Harrah’s Tahoe February 3 and 4.

The band’s longtime drummer, 70-year-old Dave Garibaldi, is listed in “fair condition” but will remain hospitalized for a few more days as he recovers from head and facial injuries.
