Just three days after the Reno Gazette Journal said Jerod Haase should be a top candidate for the head coaching job at UNR, Haase’s University of Alabama Birmingham (UAB) team won their first Conference USA Tournament championship.
The UAB Blazers beat Middle Tennessee 73-60.
