Local Veteran artists will display their work to the public at Arts HQ on Saturday, May 20, from 10 am to 4 pm in the Upper Parking Lot of the Veterans Memorial Building in Placerville. The free arts event — which takes place on Armed Forces Day during Mental Health Awareness Month — will raise awareness about veterans’ mental health issues and include resources for Veterans and their caregivers.
