South Shore athletes do well at Nevada State Track & Field Meet

During the first day of the Nevada State High School championships, both South Tahoe and Whittell High School athletes had impressive showings.

STHS sophomore Maya Brosch in the state champ in the 300 meter hurdles for Division 1-A. She ran a time of 45:18.

Whittell sophomore Cole Snyder won the state 1600 meter race for Division 4 schools with by running it in 4:51.53.

The Whittell girl’s 4 x 100 relay team of Aisha Ceron, Michelle Barnes, Samantha Forvilly and Lauren George won a state title with a time of 55:24.
