March 12, 2016 - 10:00am This book sale will have hundreds of previously read, some new, and all loved books. Remember FOL members get in an hour early for the best selection and are entered into a drawing for a free bag of books. Not a member? Join now or the morning of the sale. Perfect time to get goodies for those Easter Baskets.

Friends of the Library host holiday gift wrapping party

Love to shop but don't like to wrap? The Lake Tahoe Branch of the El Dorado County Library and the Friends of the Library will come to the rescue with a gift wrapping party, 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 15.
The party also serves as a fundraiser for the library. Because of the failure of Measure L, the library's book budget is frozen. Donations of $2 per gift are requested for the party. All proceeds go to Friends of the Library and are used to support the library.
