Commedienne and author Kat Simmons to speak on Kat's Daily Cups

August 28, 2016 - 10:00am Author and comedienne Kat Simmons will speak on her book, Kat’s Daily Cups in a free presentation at the Dangberg Home Ranch Historic Park on Sunday, August 28, at 10:00 am.
Kat's Daily Cups is a collection of short stories about raising children, the love of animals, life's challenges, gratitude, inspiration and awakenings. Kat Simmons says some stories will make the reader laugh and some may make them cry. Simmons hopes her book will become a personal book to the reader, in an interactive journey and will answer the question. "What is in your Daily Cup today?".

The Crazy Club’s Open Mic Morning- Children's Story Time & Talent Contest

August 2, 2014 - 10:30am Join the Crazy Club authors Christie Higman Rassuchine and Robyn Lindner, two gals who grew up in Tahoe and wrote books based on their own Crazy Club in elementary school, for a morning of fun at the library on August 2nd at 10:30 p.m.
They will read a portion of their newest book, Larry’s Lucky Charm. Many of The Crazy Club members are looking forward to showing off their talent, but will stage fright get the best of Larry Lightyear?
