Meyers Elementary kindergarten registration now open

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - Meyers Elementary School is now taking names for its 24/25 kindergarten classes. Students' date of birth must be on or before September 1, 2019 to be able to attend this next school year. For those born after that date, see below for TK classes.

If you don't know which school your child will attend, use the Lake Tahoe Unified School District (LTUSD) Transportation Zone Map to find your school.
Proof of residence will be required upon registration.

If your incoming student is brand-new to LTUSD, complete the online enrollment (https://laketahoe.asp.aeries.net/air) for your school of residence and choose the correct year enrollment (or pre-enrollment depending on the time of year). (If you have an existing sibling enrolled in LTUSD, log in to your already-created account and click the Enroll a New Student button so your children will be linked in the portal).

If you wish to transfer from one of our other District schools, submit the Open Enrollment form under Forms on the LTUSD website (email to mtruszewski@ltusd.org). Please note on the form your child's date of birth and if you live in or out of the boundary zone.

If you are new to LTUSD and live outside of our school boundary but wish to
apply at Meyers, you need to enroll online for your school of residence first, then complete the Open Enrollment form (mentioned above) to get on our Waitlist (pls note the date of birth on the form).

Meyers school officials will contact you in August if they have space available.

If you do get admitted to a school outside your boundary, LTUSD only provides very limited transportation. Also, school numbers will be analyzed each year for those who live out of bounds and there is the possibility you could be "bumped" by someone who lives within the boundary.

Please do not bring any paperwork to the school until they contact you (via email) with an acceptance. If the online system won't allow you to access the forms, I have posted the complete packets on this website under Forms.
