El Dorado Savings Bank is going to move their Bijou branch to Kingsbury Grade in April, taking over the former location of Bank of America.
When the reconstruction of the Crescent V Center started the branch was moved to its current location at 3443 Lake Tahoe Blvd, which is about a mile from another branch of theirs on Al Tahoe Blvd.
A bank employee said the new branch in Nevada will open more options for their customers, including those with Nevada business accounts. They will also have a larger space for safety deposit boxes and easy parking.
The Bijou branch is currently the bank's only local location open on Saturdays. The Stateline branch will now have the Saturday hours.
El Dorado Savings branches are also located at the Y at 942 Emerald Bay Road and the Al Tahoe branch at 1036 Al Tahoe Blvd.
