Carson City man arrested on felony DUI charges after fatal crash on US-395 in Douglas County

DOUGLAS COUNTY, Nev. - An arrest has been made in the fatal crash that killed Fallon Montanucci, a 22-year-old Gardnerville resident on April 23, 2022. She had been driving on US-395 at Airport Road at approximately 4:00 a.m. when a silver 2020 Ford F-150 pickup driving the wrong way struck the front of her vehicle.

Troopers with the Nevada State Police Highway Patrol have arrested the driver of the pickup, Matthew Premo. 26. of Carson City.

Primo has been booked at the Douglas County Jail on the following charges:

• DUI (2nd) causing death (Felony)
• DUI (2nd) causing substantial harm (Felony)
• Driving on the right side of road required (Misdemeanor)
• Basic Speed 21+ (Misdemeanor)
• Seatbelt Required (Misdemeanor)
