Multiple agencies responded to a truck fire on Kingsbury Grade Saturday morning about two miles over the summit on the valley side of the road. The fire spread onto the surrounding brush, temporarily closing Kingsbury/SR207.
Crews were able to quickly knock the fire down after it burned .15 acres according to Dave Fogerson of East Fork Fire.
Fogerson said it appears a work truck towing a big fork lift lost control and the driver had to drive into the hillside, causing the fire. The exact cause though is under investigation.
