Lake Tahoe Prosperity Center Names Mone´ Haen as New CEO

The Tahoe Prosperity Center has announced the appointment of Mone´K. Haen to the new position of CEO. The Tahoe Prosperity Center was formed in response to the Lake Tahoe Basin Prosperity Plan developed in 2010 and is the result of an unprecedented coalition of government, private, and philanthropic stakeholders in the Tahoe Basin. The naming of a CEO is a major step in the TPC's mission to promote regional sustainability through economic vitality, environmental stewardship and healthy communities in and around the Lake Tahoe Basin.

Ms. Haen comes to the Tahoe Prosperity Center after a 15-year career in the institutional real estate sector, most recently serving as chief financial officer for Invesco Real Estate's $4 billion core, commingled real estate fund.

The first priority for Ms. Haen will be to launch a fund raising and awareness campaign to achieve the TPC's mission. In order to kick off those efforts, Ms. Haen represented the Tahoe Prosperity Center at this year's Lake Tahoe Summit held on August 13th at Edgewood in South Lake Tahoe.

"I'm honored to serve in this capacity and help achieve the objectives of the Tahoe Prosperity Center and the Lake Tahoe Basin Prosperity Plan. The Lake Tahoe Basin is an awe-inspiring place with a community devoted to living and playing in its natural surroundings. Participating in the advancement and sustainability of the long-term economic and natural environment for generations to come is truly a privilege and a pleasure,” said Haen in response to what attracted her to the position.

"We are delighted to welcome Ms. Haen to the Tahoe Prosperity Center", said Tom Greene, TPC board chair and Vice-President at Lake Tahoe Community College. She has an impressive track record in corporate finance and real estate, and possesses deep leadership capabilities that make her an excellent choice to lead our up-and-coming organization."

Prior to her six-year tenure with Invesco, Ms. Haen served as Director of Corporate Finance with the technology related REIT, Digital Realty Trust, and served various roles in acquisitions, capital markets and asset management for AMB Property Corporation (now Prologis). Ms. Haen received her B.S. in business management from the University of Utah. She resides in Truckee, California with her husband and daughter.
