SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – The Boys & Girls Club of Lake Tahoe has announced its first-ever Mardi Gras Masquerade Ball to support Tahoe youth. This elegant evening will take place at the Riva Grill on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Guests will enjoy an unforgettable night featuring live brass band entertainment, signature Mardi Gras cocktails including Hurricanes, Sazeracs, and French 75s, and authentic New Orleans-inspired hors d’oeuvres, including jambalaya, blackened chicken, cajun shrimp skewers, and more. Throughout the evening, attendees can participate in a themed photo booth with printed photo strips, a mini second line parade—a beloved New Orleans tradition—and an open dance floor. The night will culminate with a King Cake Ceremony where one lucky guest will find the hidden baby, win a prize, and be crowned king or queen of the ball.

Additional festivities include a best masquerade mask contest, plus a silent auction to benefit our Club. All guests will receive complimentary Mardi Gras beads upon arrival. Need a mask? Join us at our Art Room Fundraiser on Wednesday, January 15, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Angel of Tahoe building, where you can create your very own custom masquerade mask with Art Specialist Gina Stowell—wine included! Tickets are $55, and spaces are limited, so register now at bit.ly/bgclt-art-fund2026.
