SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – The Lake Tahoe Unified School District (LTUSD) is letting parents and the community know that there will be school on Friday, January 16.
The original school year calendar had that day scheduled off, but due to Monday’s Snow Day, school will be in session to make up for the missed day.
This is the second year the district has built three snow days into the calendar, instead of catching up at the end of the school year in June. Scheduled were January 16, March 23, and May 1. School will be held on these dates only if a snow day occurs earlier in the school year that requires a makeup day.
