Two suspects are being sought for battering an 89-year-old man at Walgreen’s in Gardnerville on Christmas Eve at approximately 7:30 p.m.
The suspects were driving a black Dodge pickup truck with unknown license plates. One of the suspects is described as a Causasian male 20-30 years old with a beard.
The elderly victim initially declined to report the incident but recently came forward and is working with Douglas County Sheriff’s Office (DCSO) to find the pair.
DCSO has information that a female filmed the incident on a cell phone.
