SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif.- More than 100 community members attended the Tahoe Chamber’s annual Connect for a Cause Charity Mixer and raised over $2,400 and brought in cases of food for Bread & Broth 4 Kids.

Attendees enjoyed appetizers and Riva Grill’s signature cocktail, Wet Woodys while also raising money for the local non-profit that currently provides backpacks of weekend food to 170 kids in grades K-8 at South Lake Tahoe schools.

“We love hosting this event every year because it gives us the opportunity to support an incredible local charity and better connect with our community,” said Tahoe Chamber Director of Operations Emily Abernathy.

The Tahoe Chamber is thanking Riva Grill, the perfect backdrop for this event and for accommodating the event and providing the generous spread, and Lauren Lindley Photography for providing a mobile photo booth that allowed guests to use props and costumes and take fun photos throughout the night.
