These two additions bring even more flavor and variety to the growing lineup of local vendors calling Cascade Kitchens home.
The Slice Shack makes the move from food truck to brick-and-mortar, bringing its beloved pizza to a permanent home inside Cascade Kitchens. Known for crafting pies inspired by the iconic New York slice and shaped by their California roots, The Slice Shack has built a loyal following around Lake Tahoe. Guests can expect bold flavors, perfectly crisp crusts, and the kind of satisfying slices that keep people coming back for more. Also opening Friday is Frankie’s Tahoe, a bakery founded by local pastry chef Caitlin Thomson and named in honor of her Italian great-grandfather. With more than 25 years in the culinary world and over 13 years serving the Lake Tahoe community, Caitlin is known for beautifully crafted cakes, pastries, and specialty desserts. Frankie’s focuses on high-quality, high-altitude baked goods that blend exceptional flavor with thoughtful design, perfect for celebrations, catering, or simply satisfying a sweet craving.
