SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – With students in the Lake Tahoe Unified School District (LTUSD) not attending school for at least three weeks, District officials have coordinated a plan to get breakfast and lunch to them. These two meals were offered by LTUSD at each school.
Bread & Broth 4 Kids has also created a plan to distribute bags of food to youth on their program.
LTUSD will distribute food to any student age 18 and younger starting Wednesday, March 18 at eight bus stops in South Lake Tahoe. The combined breakfast and lunch bag at the following bus stops throughout the community beginning at 9:45 a.m. through 10:30 a.m. Monday – Friday with the exception of Spring Break (April 6th – 10th):

Buses will distribute for 15 minutes at each bus stop listed. If you miss the delivery, you may go to the listed school sites below between the hours of 11:00 a.m. and- 1:00 p.m. to pick up food:
Bijou School – Front of Cafeteria/MPR
South Tahoe Middle School – Front Entrance
Sierra House School – Front Entrance
Tahoe Valley School – Front Entrance
Bread & Broth 4 Kids will still be distributing their weekly food bags to the kids participating in their program starting Friday, March 20. They will be at the bus stops and school sites on Fridays only, the normal day of distribution for the bags. They will provide a double bag of food prior to Spring Break (April 3) and not be at the sites during the break.
