SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – The El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office has announced the return of the Citizens Academy in South Lake Tahoe. Locals, this is your chance to go behind the badge in an interactive 8-week course that offers a deep dive into several law enforcement topics.
Whether you’re curious about investigative techniques or want to see the department’s technology in action, this is a great way to spend your summer evenings.
When: Wednesday nights, June 3 – July 22, 2026
Time: 6 p.m. – 9 p.m.
Who: Open to South Lake Tahoe residents (18+)
