SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – A South Lake Tahoe woman is in the El Dorado County Jail facing numerous charges and a bail of $250,000 after being arrested on Tuesday, April 7.
El Dorado County probation officers went to the home of Crystal Ann Orork on Spruce Avenue to serve an arrest warrant after she allegedly violated the terms of her parole. Upon arrival, Orork threatened them with a knife, according to reports. The officers called the South Lake Tahoe Police Department (SLTPD).
According to SLTPD Lt. Scott Crivelli, Orork barricaded herself in the house after their arrival. He said she also threatened police officers with a knife and then threw the knife at them.
Police shot a beanbag at her, then wrestled her to the ground to arrest her, said Crivelli.
Orock is facing four felony charges: Violation of parole, Aggravated obstruction/resist an officer, Exhibit firearm/deadly weapon to resist arrest, and Assault with a deadly weapon not a firearm on police/firefighter: great bodily injury likely.
