SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – The may be a wet end to the week in South Lake Tahoe with some cooler temperatures that will dip below normal Monday then warm again by mid-week. Low pressure, almost cutoff, will move into the region starting Thursday. This will increase chances for showers and a few thunderstorms Thursday into the weekend, mainly in the afternoon and early evening hours, according to the National Weather Service (NWS) in Reno.
Since it’s spring, there is a chance for precipitation here and there, but the first look at the following week’s forecast shows a trend for warming more consistently near to above normal as we get toward the end of April.
