SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – What happens when you mix a group of entrepreneurs with a group of artists? An art show for the public to enjoy, of course! South Tahoe High School’s newly formed Entrepreneur Club and the new Art Club have combined talents to showcase each other’s special talents. There will be a Student Art Show at the world-renowned Marcus Ashley Gallery in South Lake Tahoe on April 26 from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. All are welcome.
The Entrepreneur Club members have learned the skills of marketing, fundraising, and other tools of the trade during the first year of its formation. Artists aren’t always the best businesspeople, and businesspeople aren’t always artists – they don’t speak the same language, according to Entrepreneur Club Vice President Sebastian Guerrero.
On April 26, the art students will be displaying their work on a prominent wall at the gallery. They will be rotating through the afternoon, demonstrating their talents, as will the entrepreneurs, as they meet the public and share their mission. Food and drinks will be served.
