SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – Philanthropy on Tap returns to El Dorado County this spring. These networking and collaborative events will offer the opportunity for “flights” of nonprofit organizations serving the county to present in front of an audience of El Dorado Community Foundation donors, their nonprofit peers, and the community at large for 60-90 seconds, describing their mission, programs, and greatest needs.

As with last year, there will be undercover judges in the audience scoring different aspects of each presentation, and the organization with the highest overall score will win $500.

After the nonprofit presentations, all attendees will have a chance to mingle and network. Food and drinks will be available for purchase with some light snacks provided by the foundation.

These events are open to anyone in the community for free. Nonprofits interested in presenting must register ahead of time, and space is limited, so don’t wait. Visit eldoradocf.org to register your nonprofit for free!

Join them for one or both events. This is a wonderful way to learn more about the nonprofits of the community and the critical impacts they provide, all while enjoying craft beverages from some of your favorite local breweries.

The Western Slope event is on Wednesday, June 17, at Jack Russell Farm Brewery, 2380 Larsen Dr., Camino, Calif., from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The Tahoe event is Thursday, June 18, at The Hangar Lake Tahoe, 2401 Lake Tahoe Blvd., South Lake Tahoe, Calif., from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Parking is limited at the Tahoe location; biking and carpooling are encouraged, please.

Community members do not need to register for these FREE events.
