SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – Join Will Richardson of the Tahoe Institute for Natural Science (TINS) at the South Lake Tahoe Library on May 26, 2026, for a program on “The Secret Lives of Sierra Pollinators.” This will be an accessible and engaging exploration of the region’s pollinators, their ecological connections, and the challenges they face in a changing climate and landscape.

Pollinators such as bees, butterflies, moths, flies, beetles, birds, and even ants play a vital role in maintaining the biodiversity and ecological resilience of the Sierra Nevada. Yet many of these species remain overlooked or poorly documented.

The South Lake Tahoe Library is located at 1100 Rufus Allen Blvd.

The program is from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
