Over 200 women flocked to Lake Tahoe Community College for the fourth annual “Mom’s Morning Out” on Saturday, May 3.

Women of all ages, not just moms, delighted in a morning of pampering and fitness. The morning started with the option to participate in a yoga class with The Studio Lake Tahoe or an outdoor cardio and strength training with Megan Waskiewicz from Lake Tahoe Community College.

Attendees browsed Lake Tahoe educational booths and collected free samples. They received complimentary spa treatments from local vendors, including massages, facials, acupuncture, cranial sacral therapy, and brow waxes.

Barton Health doctors and staff provided lectures that addressed pertinent medical issues that affect women. Topics included women and heart disease, nutrition for women, stress in women, and tips to have a healthy family. Blue Angel Café served brunch and coffee.

The annual event was sponsored by Barton Women’s Health, Lake Tahoe Community College, and Tahoe Daily Tribune.
