SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – Heavenly is giving guests more time to soak in the views and vibes for Memorial Day weekend! This Saturday and Sunday, Heavenly will extend operating hours to 6:30 p.m.
In the summer, Heavenly Mountain Resort transforms into a high-elevation playground where scenic views meet social adventure set above the iconic blue waters of Lake Tahoe. Guests can ride from the heart of South Lake Tahoe to over 9,000 feet, trading the sandy shores and buzzing city for mountaintop views, alpine air, and a hub of activities. The result: a uniquely accessible Sierra experience that blends sightseeing, adventure, and outdoor recreation.
What’s happening:
- Heavenly’s Gondola will run from 10:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. (normally 10:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.) this Saturday and Sunday
- More time for sightseeing and activities like the Ridge Rider Mountain Coaster, Gem Panning, or Tubing
