SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – The El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office (EDSO) is asking for the public’s help in locating a man last seen in Desolation Wilderness. As of 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 26, the EDSO Search and Rescue team is actively looking for Jason Coughran, 60, who is overdue from a trip on Monday.
Jason is described as a white male adult, 6’02” in height and 150 pounds. He has brown hair, hazel eyes, and an athletic build. He was hiking into Desolation Wilderness from Fallen Leaf Lake, possibly headed to Angora Peak. He is believed to be wearing khaki shorts, but the clothing is unknown for certain. He was last heard from at approximately 4:00 p,m, on May 25.
