SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – The Soroptimist International Club of Tahoe Sierra (SITS) is wrapping up its fundraising season this Friday, May 29, 2026. Right on the heels of its successful Mad Hatter Tea Party and Vacation Raffle, the club is holding the Mad Hatter online silent auction that concludes on Friday at 8 p.m.
All funds raised go to support women and youth in the community through scholarships, grants, awards and other financial support. The club will celebrate its 50th anniversary in March 2027, and through fundraising to date, they have been able to donate about $2,000,000 back into the local community.

Find business and restaurant gift certificates, artwork, jewelry, nutrition counseling, tax preparation, estate planning, a kids party at the Lake Valley Fire Station, a guided nature hike with Toogee Sielsch, a “boat-a-long” with El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office, shooting range experience with South Lake Tahoe Police, dumpster rental, healthy cooking class, fishing, hockey, ball games, beauty and wellness, and so much more! A big item this year is a wagon filled with over $1,500 in wine!
