The Lesley Gomes Barlow for Judge campaign announces endorsements from sixteen El Dorado County prosecutors, including Chief Assistant District Attorney, Joe Alexander. The Deputy District Attorneys represent the People of the State of California and are responsible for prosecuting crimes, protecting victims of those crimes, public safety and providing paths to reform. They spend a majority of their time in the courtroom and know the importance of having a fair, firm and competent judge on the bench. These endorsements are a significant testament of the trust that the chief law enforcement agency has for Ms. Barlow. “As a resident of El Dorado County, I understand and appreciate the critical role that our District Attorney’s Office plays in the safety and welfare of our community. I admire and respect their dedication in the face of many challenges in our current legal climate. To receive their support and their affirmation of trust in me as a prospective Superior Court Judge is a great honor.”
