SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – The Tahoe Learning Haven is holding a new forum this Wednesday for all high school seniors. This forum is specifically for seniors who want to enter adulthood prepared with a power of attorney and health directive (not for parents). It is free and will be held on June 10 from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the South Tahoe High Library.
This is a value of over $300 but free for seniors! There will be an attorney and notary presenting the importance of a power of attorney and a health directive that all adults should have. Both forms will be completed (with notarization included) for all seniors (18+). If you aren’t yet 18, come complete the forms (though you will need to have it notarized after you turn 18).
Students, please bring a government-issued ID (no school IDs).
Parents – this forum is NOT for you, this is for the new adult in your household!
