El Dorado County health officials have confirmed three new cases of COVID-19, two in El Dorado Hills and one in the Lake Tahoe region. This brings the total number of cases in El Dorado County to 121.

Of the new cases, two are male, one is female and all are under the age of 17.

There have been no new recoveries and that number remains at 99, leaving 22 active cases. There are no hospitalizations at this time but there is one suspected case in the ICU.

178 new tests were administered.

There have been 58 cases in the Lake Tahoe area (including South Lake Tahoe, Meyers, Strawberry, and Tahoma).

Quad-Counties – Carson City, Douglas, Storey, Lyon

Carson City Health and Human Services (CCHHS) is reporting two new positive cases and four additional recoveries of COVID-19 in the Quad-County region. This brings the total number of cases to 266, with 195 recoveries and seven deaths, 66 cases remain active.

The new cases are:
• A male Lyon County resident in his 80’s with no connection to a previously reported case.
• A female Lyon County resident in her 20’s with no connection a previously reported case.

Carson City Health and Human Services is working to identify close risk contacts to prevent further spread of the disease. Due to medical privacy requirements and to protect their identity, no further information about the cases will be released
