The Douglas County Sheriff’s Department is reporting that skeletal remains have been found in the Kings Canyon area east of Spooner Lake.
They are conducting a death investigation and have transported the remains to the Washoe County Medical Examiner’s office for an autopsy.
At this time a cause of death is unknown.
No further details have been released and the investigation is continuing.
