LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – The El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office Coroner’s Division has positively identified the victims from the tragic boating incident on Lake Tahoe on June 21, 2025. The victims of this incident are:
- Paula Bozinovich, 71 years old, from Redwood City, Calif.
- Terry Pickles, 73 years old, from Redwood City, Calif.
- Joshua Antony Pickles, 37 years old, from San Francisco, Calif.
- Peter Bayes, 72 years old, from Lincoln, Calif.
- Timothy O’Leary, 71 years old, from Auburn, Calif.
- Theresa Giullari, 66 years old, from Honeoye, NY
- James Guck, 69 years old, from Honeoye, NY
- Stephen Lindsay, 63 years old, from Springwater, NY

The El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office extends its deepest heartfelt condolences to the families of those who were lost and all those who have been affected by this tragic event.
The Sheriff’s Office is thanking all the agencies that assisted the El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office and participated in the initial rescue and the subsequent search and recovery efforts. Without their assistance, the success of the search and recovery operations would not have been nearly as efficient.
The agencies involved were: North Tahoe Fire, California State Parks, South Lake Tahoe Police Department, South Lake Tahoe Fire Rescue, Washoe County Sheriff’s Office, Tahoe Douglas Fire Protection District, United States Coast Guard, North Lake Tahoe Fire, San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office, United State Forest Service, CAL Tahoe EMS, Lake Valley Fire Protection District, California OES and Wilderness Finder Search Dog Teams.
