LAKE TAHOE, Nev. – Following the fireworks cancelation in Incline Village due to a sinking barge full of explosives. the same almost happened on the South Shore.
Friday afternoon, one of the three barges used for fireworks at Stateline took on water.
The Tahoe Douglas Fire Chief had the barge pulled to shore and it is decommissioned for tonight. As of 6;30 p.m., the other two barges are okay and the show will go on.
