SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – The Food Bank of El Dorado County has partnered with St. Theresa’s Bread & Broth, the Kiwanis Club of Lake Tahoe, and the Marcella Foundation to offer a free drive-thru food distribution offering fresh seasonal produce and non-perishable food items this summer and fall, once a month.
Volunteers from the Family Resource Center will help distribute the food each month.
The next free market is on Thursday, July 9 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. It is held each month at St. Theresa’s Church, 1041 Lyons Avenue, South Lake Tahoe.
The remaining free markets are on Thursday, August 13, Thursday, September 10, and Thursday, October 8. The hours of opertion are always 10 a.m. – 11 a.m.
