SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – The annual City of South Lake Tahoe 4th of July parade had over 100 entries, covering the full gamut from kids walking and riding to large tow trucks towing each other. Large crowds lined the route, especially from Ski Run Blvd. to Whole Foods. around Safeway, Lakeview Avenue, and near the end of the route as the parade moved onto Lyons Ave.

Young and old enjoyed the parade from their vantage points, displaying the red, white, and blue in their clothing, hats, and flags.

MC’s for the event were South Lake Tahoe Fire Rescue’s Sallie Ross and Comedian/DJ Howie Nave. They were in the grandstands at Champion’s Plaza along with judges for the event. The event was also streamed live on the City’s YouTube page (and can still be seen here).
