SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – Nearly stationary low pressure will churn off the California coast over the next few days before lifting across the region around midweek. High pressure amplifies over the western states late this week,
becoming quite strong by the weekend. As this evolves, temperatures warm to near 90 each afternoon from Friday into the weekend for the Sierra, according to the National Weather Service (NWS) in Reno.
With the American Century Championship at Edgewood, golfers and fans should expect a light breeze with highs 88-89 for the three-day championship rounds. Stay hydrated!
