SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – The third week of Tahoe History Talks on the Beach for the summer will take place on Tuesday, July 7, from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Lakeview Commons. Hear the stories that helped make the South Shore what it is today.

“History by Historians” will delve into the past: Lake Tahoe Historical Society (LTHS) Board Member and historian, Dr. David Borges, LTHS Museum Director and Past Board President, Diane Johnson, LTHS Children’s Programs Chair and 1930s cabin exhibit designer, Anita Limbird, and LTHS Board President and KRLT History Hostess, Paula Peterson will entertain attendees. Learn about the museum’s oddities, artifacts, recycling before it was cool, and other fun facts and stories.

The event is free and open to the public, though donations to the museum are appreciated. Seating is on the steps on the beach side of the commons, and cushions or beach chairs are suggested.
