
SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – Temperatures will continue to warm with hot temperatures expected on Friday and Saturday for Reno, and a stretch of 80s beginning in Lake Tahoe.
Typical afternoon breezes will prevail through Friday with gusts around 20-25 mph. Stronger gusts will develop on Saturday and persist through Tuesday with the strongest winds expected on Sunday. It will be nothing unusual for mid-summer, but peak gusts could be around 35 mph which may be a fire weather concern.
Stay hydrated, limit outdoor activities and refrain from activities that could start a spark.
