A rumor being spread about a murder and rape that happened overnight is not true, South Lake Tahoe Police dispatchers told South Tahoe Now on Saturday afternoon.
“There is no serial rapist. There is no rape and murder,” the dispatcher said. She said dispatch has been flooded with calls on Saturday about the rumor.
“It is absolutely untrue,” she said.
