
Nevada Senator Dean Heller is hosting the 19th Annual Lake Tahoe Summit on Monday, August 24 at Round Hill Pines Resort from 10 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
The them of this year’s meeting of the community, political partners and government agencies will be “Connecting Lake Tahoe’s Environment and Economy through Innovation and Transportation.”
Since the Presidential Forum in 1997, the annual Lake Tahoe Summit has become an important yearly gathering of federal, state, and local leaders dedicated to the goal of restoring and sustaining Lake Tahoe as one of our most precious environmental treasures.
In years past, President Clinton, Vice President Al Gore, Governor Brown and Sandoval and Senators Feinstein, Heller and Boxer.
The Summit is once again outside, so please dress appropriately for a summer morning on the South Shore.
The event is free and open to the public.
