The Lil’ Smokies bring authentic bluegrass from the garden city of Missoula, MT to Live at Lakeview this Thursday.
“It’s a well known fact that South Lake Tahoe loves its bluegrass music,” states Leslie Schultz. “The first time I had the pleasure of seeing The Lil’ Smokies live, I knew within the first six notes that they needed to come back and play on the Live at Lakeview stage! So excited this day is finally here!”
The Diva Kings, an Americana band from Sacramento, will start the show at 4:30 pm and The Lil’ Smokies will start their Lakeview debut performance at 6:00 pm. Live at Lakeview is a free weekly concert series hosted at Lakeview Commons, in the heart of South Lake Tahoe. Every Thursday through August 27th the event hosts live music and art on the beach, along with a variety of local merchants and delicious food options plus amphitheater style seating and breathtaking views of Lake Tahoe from the beer garden. Proceeds from the beer garden will benefit South Tahoe BMX, ultimately benefiting the Bijou Bike Park.
Parking is limited around the venue; however, a complimentary bike valet service is offered every Thursday evening. Biking and carpooling is strongly encouraged. Additional parking is available at the South Lake Tahoe Recreation Center (1601 Rufus Allen Blvd.)
