SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – High pressure will provide a few more days of hot weather with most areas remaining dry. There is just a slight chance for a few thunderstorms through Tuesday, mainly southeast of Lake Tahoe. A cooling trend to more seasonable temperatures along with an increase in winds is expected for the second half of the week.

Wednesday – Mostly sunny, with a high near 81.

Wednesday Night – Partly cloudy, with a low around 47.

Thursday – Sunny, with a high near 80.
