SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – The Boys & Girls Club of Lake Tahoe (BGCLT) will host a Club Job Fair on Saturday, August 8, 2026, from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Angel of Tahoe Clubhouse. The Club is hiring Youth Development Professionals for all six sites in Meyers, South Lake Tahoe, and Zephyr Cove.

Youth Development Professionals lead engaging, high-energy programs for an assigned age group (TK, elementary, or middle school) at their assigned Club site. This part-time, after-school role covers everything from sports and STEM to homework and the arts. Hours run Monday through Friday, between 12 p.m. and 6 p.m., with up to 29 hours a week during the school year and up to 40 hours a week during school vacations. 

Job perks include earned time off, paid holidays and sick leave, and retention and referral bonuses. Pay ranges from $23-27 per hour, depending on experience. Applicants must be 18 years old, hold a high school diploma (or equivalent), and have a passion for working with children.

It’s meaningful work, and it strengthens our entire community.”

Walk-ins are welcome to the Club Job Fair on Saturday between 2-4 p.m. No reservation is required. All participants should bring a resume and list of references, and expect to stay until 5 p.m. 

After the job fair, all selected applicants must attend a job training on Tuesday, August 11 from 1 to 5 p.m.. The job will then resume on Monday, August 17.
